Very happy that the team defense is making strides. If they change defenses on the fly they will create opportunities to run. If Daniel Robinson can make contributions as has Ryden Hines we will be in good shape to face Rhamel Brown and Manhattan. Typically zone defenses give up more offensive rebounds, but our length on the perimeter may offset that. Coach Cluess will add another wrinkle once Tavon Sledge is healthy and can press the point guard. David Laury will learn to avoid the cheap fouls and teammates will be quick with help down low. Just need to continue to work on communication and rotations. Feeling encouraged about the defense this year. Just hoping the refs call a tight game against Manhattan to negate their muggings. Bring it Gaels! Let's take their lunch and eat it too!
