In Coach's pre-Niagara game interview it sounded like Isaiah was gone for good, no? He mentioned personal issues and wished him luck in getting them resolved.

What a shame! Hope he gets it resolved. So much potential!

No more picking players with the same last names. We had two Gomez's and lost one of those. We had two Williams... now we are down to just one of those.

If true it is very sad. We all hope the support of the university, coaches and teammates will be enough to assist these young men through difficult times. I hope he is able to escape his neighborhood and make a fresh start somewhere else. Heartbreaking news.

I noticed on the roster that there is a 6'8''Sr from Fordham prep. just wondering was he on the team all year or did they just add him so they have enough Bigs to practice after Williams left ?

Is that the fair skinned kid who was in uniform sitting at the end of the bench? Looked a little bit like Bowman.

Evidently, Kristian Duravcevic has been on the roster since the 2010-2011 season and has yet to log a minute of playing time, so I would infer that he isn't going to fill the shoes of Isaiah Williams. I found a post about him on this board from almost 3 years ago, which I've pasted below.

Some comments on #32, the walkon sitting at the end of the bench. He went to Fordham Prep, my alma mater so I know a little bit about this kid since I still closely follow that program. Solid low post player in a strong Catholic league who has good range from 15 feet. Well coached in high school and has a solid understanding of the fundamentals. Made huge leap in his game from junior to senior year. Was actually being recruited by Grasso while at Fordham as well as CW Post. Do we have a connection here? Spent a post grad year at a Prep School in NJ. I would love to see this kid get a shot. Many will be pleasantly surprised and at 6'8, he has good size.

Thanks Resume.
Yeah, in a game like today when were up by 30, I say empty the bench and reward those kids who show up to practice and work hard for the program.

Too bad about IW, he clearly had a load of talent.
Best wishes to him that he gets everything in his life back on track.
Exceling so much last year in Florida, perhaps his future basketball days would be better off further away from home.
