I think Stevie Wonder could see Iona's defense needs to improve!

Great to hear something from Coach Cluess. He obviously understands their needs and that it will take time. Does not sound urgent and he shouldn't be with time before MAAC tournament. Hopefully this will calm the faithful and move people off the ledge. No Chicken Little needed. Let's whack Fairfield, GO GAELS!

IMO we should give Laury some slack...He has twice as many rebounds as any other player, and he gets little help. He is the only board sweeper on the team, and usually goes up against at least 2 or 3 opponents... The lose of I.Williams hurt big time and a look of game results since then will reveal it. We have no other true rebounder on the team...They are what I call rebounders of convenience...If the ball comes off the boards their way, there is a good chance it theirs, but very little times will they grab one that is contestable... We are no more then a moderate low rebounding team which has shown to be our biggest need, which can be contributed to our ''scorers mentaily'' recruitment...
Quinny and Manhattan have recruited with the growth of size in modern basketball, and are profiting from their foresight...Unless we take it into serious consideration, we will continue to be a good team that loses to inferior teams with size...
Robinson and Hines will help, but they will need time...A question with Robinson...Is his injury the same problem he had with his knee this summer, and is it one that will give him future trouble?......
