Probably should have added, that you like to see play. For me it's Rhamel Brown of Manhattan. And it's an easy call. I like watching him on both offense and defense, and feel if were a Gael, we'd be a top ten seed in the NCAA tournament. His shot blocking gets him labelled as a VG defensive player, but his offense is underrated, as he's very strong around the rim and a vg passer, probably only behind DL as a passing big man. I'll be glad when he graduates.
Who do you like?

Always liked Maurice Barrow from Fairfield. Can play a number of positions, reliable around the basket and solid from the foul line. I believe I read on another thread that he was at one time considering playing for Iona.

Billy Baron....can score in many ways and makes his teammates better and keeps them ball moving. Even knowing your dad is the coach and you are going to get a long leash he still plays smart, doesn't force things and works hard over all. Uses the forearm shiver a bit but if they don't call it, its to his advantage.

Java and uno, agree with you both. As I remember, Barrow always kills Iona, and he;s very underrated.

I like Michael Alvarado. Tough point guard. Can't shoot the 3 but a gutsy player.

I would go with Andujar from Manhattan; scrappy player who when you look up at the end of game always has decent stats. Plus, when I watch him play he annoys me; but I would like to have him on the team I'm rooting for.

Rhamel Brown! Because Brown delivers. He owns the paint. Very few players in mid major conferences have his toughness and ability. He is the "one" I always worry about when we play Manhattan. He sets the tone. Expecting him to be a beast against us at his court. Massillon will have a very difficult time replacing him next year. They need to win now.

I only watch the MAAC when Iona is playing. I am also looking at this as favorite Non-Iona player who would round out our roster. We desperately need a "sweeper" - someone to clean the glass and keep the debris out of the paint.
I think our D rockets with Rhamel Brown back there. You can guard that trey knowing he is back there to clean up your mess. I like the kid Heath to also do that job.

With the ever improving Laury I see a lessoning need for a ''Big Man''...He at 6-9 with weight and strength might with some help at a strong forward position along with Williams backed up by our more seasoned present two biggies be enough taking into consideration Cluess running type offense...If we could find a scoring power forward, it would open tremendous ''who will we guard'' trouble for the opposition and make us at least a decent rebounding team and keep our high action reputation.......
A team with Laury at center, Williams at one forward with the hoped for power forward at the other and with English and Amayo manning the guard positions would put us in a favorite MAAC position and possibly beyond.......

If I could add a player to our roster it would be Brown. A guy I like to watch is Hearst of Quinny. For a 6'2" guy he can rebound and he elevates on his jumper like MoMo did. Fun player to watch as long as he's playing against someone else. Second would be Drame.
