Entertaining game. Sean can't go out like this. We need him in the 2nd half.

And they pick this game for the computer, more entertaining than all the other nit games so far.

Keys to winning the second half and game:
Some offensive production from Sesn and Tre.
Play it even on the rebounds for 20 minutes.
We can do this!

We should consider putting a body on Keyser

I hope the staff works on boxing out next year. Overall our defense improved a lot. But not putting a body on players ramains a big problem.

I'm not going to come on here and rant and rave like other posters behind me probably will. I've never been prouder to be a Gael than I do right now. Our boys played some of their best basketball all season and gave LA Tech all they can handle. Unfortunately we were on the wrong side of a one point margin. Our time is coming and tonight our guys proved it. Congratulations on a very good season. Keep your head up. Everyone but one team walks away from March happy so don't let it get you down for too long.

What a heart breaking loss. I can see why La. Tech was 27-1 (now 28-1) at home. They are a very good team. Joebird almost had his buzzer beater on AJ's 3/4 court shot. I am very proud of this team. Thanks, Sean, Tre and seniors. Best of luck to you all and God Speed!
Go Gaels!!!

Amazing game. Great job by our guys in a real tough environment. Some thoughts:
1. After tonight I wonder if we will ever win a close game as an underdog in a big spot. Really felt like it was gonna happen tonight. 2. We could've quit when they punched us early on, but we hung in there, and if it wasn't for the home court advantage, would've walked out of there with a win. 3. Our perimeter defense absolutely has to improve for next year. Just atrocious. 4. Hats of to DL3 for stepping up tonight, and most importantly, nailing those two huge FTs down the stretch. 5. At times tonight's game reminded me of Ohio State, Kansas and Dayton all over, with La Tech alley ooping on us at will. Chalk some of that up to our lack of height, but more of it is the result of our guys having lapses on defense and not getting back quickly enough. 6. Didn't think an NIT loss could sting so much until I found out the hard way at about 9:30 PM tonight. 7. Glad Sean stepped up in the 2nd half. Really didn't want to see him go out with a donut on his scoring sheet. 8. AJ will be much more effective next year when he goes back to his natural 2 position. 9. Wasted timeout on the broken down inbound play hurt us a bit. If we had one more timeout in the bank we could've gotten a decent shot off with 3 seconds to go, and at the very least, they would've added slightly more time back on the clock as the TO would've allowed the refs to go to the tape. 10. Lots of positives to take away from this season, and overall the guys deserve a huge round of applause for all the memories they gave us...but a big part of me is relieved that this season is finally over. Too much to handle the last month of the season.

Fun game, heart wrenching final seconds. Wish we had a final timeout and wish we had gone up against St. John's instead. Can't wait for next season. GO GAELS!

Great effort on the road against a very good team.

Another heartbreaker.
Gaels fought the good fight.
I'll remember this group of seniors with the best of Iona teams.

Post season deja vu for 35 years. 0-92 on last second buzzer beaters, but that would have been some way to end the streak.
