Pat Lawless @givengobball 4h4 hours ago Mikey Dixon, a class of 2016 PG from the Sanford School (DE), tells me Iona was in to see his workout today.

He has offers from Maine, Fairfield, Canisius, Robert Morris, Coppin State, Central Connecticut, Drake, Eastern Tennessee, Stony Brook, Rider and Quinny have offered. Claims Rider and Quinnipiac are the schools recruiting him the hardest. Both schools were there to watch him today with Quinnys entires taff attending. Wants to play at the mid major level as he wants to play as a freshman. Also has interest from HC, Bucknell, St. Joseph’s, BU, UMBC and Loyola.
Plays high school ball with Iona recruit Eric Ayala (2017) who also holds offers from SJU, LaSalle, St. Joe's, Cincinnati, VCU, South Carolina, USC. and Temple.
Report from the City 0f Basketball Love Hoop Group/Elevate Hoops Standouts: "Dixon was one of the hottest names at Hoop Group’s Elite and Team camps in Reading, Pa. this past week, picking up offers from Central Connecticut State, Canisius, and most recently Robert Morris. The 6-foot-2 scoring point guard has had a significant growth spurt since last year, growing four to five inches and tacking on a few pounds to boot. Dixon was a must-watch player at Hoop Group, catching the eye of numerous D-I coaches with his sweet pull-up jumper and ankle-bending crossover. With Sanford, Dixon shares the playmaking duties with high-major prospect Eric Ayala, but he has been able to really showcase his talent as the go-to guard for the Diamond State Titans over the past few months. The 2016 guard’s stock is growing steadily, and another growth spurt may even get a high-major school or two to start sniffing around."
Pitt Jam Fest: Day 1 Report from the City 0f Basketball Love: "Mikey Dixon finds himself as the main attraction for the Diamond State Titans (Del.). The Sanford guard and former We R1 member showcased plenty of the hard-nosed play that made him one of the bigger names in Delaware. Dixon said that the switch was around focusing on his leadership as he nears the end of his high school career. The upcoming senior does not have an offer in hand, but has heard from St. Joseph’s, Boston, Fairfield, UMBC and Loyola."
Hoop Group Report Academic Elite Session 1: "Mikey Dixon showed a fantastic ability to put the ball in the basket. Whether it was from inside or out, Dixon could not be stopped with the ball in his hands. The 6’2 point guard is capable of knocking down shot after shot, and he hit step back threes effortlessly. When his shot is working for him, he becomes even more deadly, as he can get defenders off their feet and score at the tin."
EJ Crawford, a 6-5 SG out of the St. Thomas More School in Connecticut tweets he has been offered by Iona.
EJ Crawford, a 6-5 SG/SF. Ranked as the 19th best prospect in New England. Kid can score from anywhere on the court. Was First Team All State as a junior when he averaged 24 points, 7.4 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game.. Offers from Bryant, UNCW, Robert Morris, FDU, Kennesaw State and Vermont.
Scouting Report from NERR at the Buzzer Beater Classic Tournament in July:
"Crawford was his usual self this past weekend, scoring from all-three levels and showing his smooth perimeter game. His best performance was in the championship game where a talented JB Hoops team had no answer for him from the out-set."
NERR Report from the Summer Jam Fest 2015:
"E.J. Crawford was named the tournament's MVP after scoring the ball in high volume throughout the weekend and coming away with a new offer from UNC-W in the process..."
NERR Report from the Rumble In The Bronx June 2015:
"Players who stood out: Crawford continued his strong play since joining USAD and led the team in scoring for the weekend. He scored 28 points versus a tough Middletown’s Finest Friday night and in doing so, showed the ability to score from all three levels. He also scored 24 points versus an elite WE-R1 team and paced USAD offensively in a double overtime loss to the champion Rens."

I like the Crawford video.. I guess because of the Marvin, Ricky and Stevie teams, I'm partial to lefties. It does look like that EJ could lose some baby fat, but I'm putting him into him into the BUY category.
