Board is quiet and I know Cluess mixes it up. And who knows if we add more players. So far arguments sake
English Amayo Williams Dublin Laury
Which positions, if any, are still up for grabs?

Cluess will go with the speed AND scoring of CASMIER, the scoring of ENGLISH, the power of AMAYO, the hustle and grit of WILLIAMS and the size with LAURY.

Based on conversations with the coaches last night, my guess as to our starting 5: Laury Dublin Williams Amayo English
Bench, in order of projected PT: Young Casimir Either Hines or Robinson, whichever shows more Sledge Hines/Robinson Others will barely play, is my guess

When did we recruit Others? What H.S. did he play for?

Wow..looks like Ellis is still not in plans. Am I correct we have 2 ships remaining? I count 10 in the rotation plus Ellis, which makes 11.

Don't forget the foreign kid. Paperwork still being sorted out.
Landing a late transfer or JUCO is not out of the question.

Seems like for the fourth year in a row we are going with the same approach (size), and hoping for a different result.

Yeah, really. For a team with "no size", we've done pretty well for ourselves.

If sledge is that far down the list in playing time ....then we have one helluva backcourt...is casimir that good?[/quote] Sledge is that far down the list, simply because entering his final year he has contributed very little, except gain the admiration of those fans that appear to be captivated by his effort and the few things he does well... Right now even though I would love to find a productive position for him, I see no prospect of that, and setting fan love aside, and letting realism reign I can not see any of his play contributing to that goal... As a young boy I often ''BOOED'' the greatest player who ever lived because of his AGED play....BABE RUTH....That is the nature of a sport fan and the dividing line that exists between the true world and the escapism of sports..... Aside....Although I have never actually caddied for The Babe, I was often assigned as a fore caddy for his group at Pelham Country Club.....That was sure to be a fun day and a treasured memory....
