My question for Coach Cluess is........ With Casimir the heir apparent to the point guard position, and the more then capable English and Amayo also able to play it, what was the reason to recruit Ibn Muhammed, who can only be used at point guard?..... I also find it puzzling that Muhammed allowed himself to enter into a position where his playing time is negligible when it appears he is good enough to find his need elsewhere..... When we recruited Mohammed, it occurred to me that he's a good player for practice, who can mimic Casimir with the second team. Same size, quickness I assume. You can interchange the two in practice if they are very similar players, or others around them if the two teams are playing Iona v. Iona type scrimmage. My assumption is that Ibn is battle tested, able to calm a team down when needed as a true point. I have seen some of his videos and he seems to be a solid player.

I doubt that would be an answer we would receive from Coach Cluess....

However, the similar size might be a coincidence, or it may also be somewhat by design.
