Based on Kelvin Amayo's tweet, about noon, I'm estimating that the scrimmage will be 2-4 or 3-5.

If you Google in 'College basketball secret scrimmages' it will lead you a complete nationwide schedule of all such games...........

]Is no news good news?
Where is Guy?....He said he was working on it last night...St. Francis does as far I can find out have a message board, but last message dated was in 2009...I don't remember a time that info took so long before it was uncovered..... In fairness to fans, our staff should do what seems the growing way...Schedule one secret scrimmage game and one home exhibition game against an area lower Div. School... I would grade the Iona basketball program with a big ''A'', but it drops at most to a 'C'' when it comes to Fan relations.......

Away on business but I have had no luck.
And you can't get on the school's "fan relations" on this. By rule they cannot share results.
Would like to know how it went but the "result" is meaningless nonetheless.

Well St Francis is a VG team. If we struggled that might be a good thing. All those pre-season awards, rankings are nice but we ain't done nothing yet.

OT, I understand your point that it would be nice for the fans to see the team play an exhibition before the season starts. But I for one don't see the benefit of playing lower level teams. I would think the team would benefit more from playing 3 halves in a controlled scrimmage against D-1 competition. just my opinion. having said that, yes it would be nice if they would "leak" a little info from the scrimmages.

Sharkey.....We disagree for a change.....They practice for at least a month before season start...IMO the fan benefit far outweighs the possible toned down loss of one of those days...Some of these lesser teams are not complete push overs and in looking over various team sites and have found most of them are very competitive games...Gannon gave Siena a pretty good battle last night....

I heard a mouse was seen in the gym during the game and that mouse is now no longer with us. When Cluess is done coaching he will have a consultant job offer from the CIA.

OT..that's because Siena is not as good as their fans think
Sharkey......If they were, they would be number one team in the country...In the past 4 years they have average close to 20 losses a year...In fact even their ''Call to glory'' last year, they had 18... Reminds me of a Oldtimers tale I posted a few years back...Back in the early 1930'3 our J.B. was a nice player for New Rochelle's Neptune A.C...He was small but scrappy 2nd baseman...In a game with a Bronx team, a mini riot broke out with players and fans fighting all over the field...As it was pre-TV days the games drew 1,000 or more fans..... J.B. was involved with the burly catcher from the Bronx team, and was taking quite a beating...My dad and I (about 9 years old) were spectators...My dad had quite a street fighter reputation and never seen a fight he did not like jumped from his viewing place and ran to J.B.'s assistance, and quickly dispatched the big catcher... Over the years I often teased J.B. about the incident and he in his typical manner would always reply........... '' Yea man, You remember how I was kicking the s... out of that big Bronx bastard'' Hynes is not the same without J.B. and shared memories..........
