Precisely. I can't believe this is the same board that got all pissy because we couldn't compete with elite eight Ohio St. This board has an undying hatred for THE Ohio State University. Go Ducks! Uhhh... not all of us... Go Bucks!

Hurtinturkey, congrats on another stepping stone game for your son. In only 12 MINUTES he had FOUR Blocks to go along with five points, two rebounds and a steal.

The wheel has come off....Despite the ridiculous effort to 'Ballyhoo' the St. John team to in some places into the Nations top 10, the folly and its exposure has begun... Last night they lost their third game in a row...Can Seton Hall be far behind now that they are finished with the 'Patsies'

Despite the two losses, last week, SJU stayed in the Top 25 at 24. With another loss, last night, they will surely drop to 25 and if they ever win a BE game will move up to 23. But SH is another story, as they are a team on the rise, though I still doubt that they are a Top 25 team. Interested to see how they do when they get their best player back.

Dickinson, Fordham, down years Long Beach State and terrible Tulane they were about 11-1 and were in 2 different polls at No. 10.....It was obvious to any knowledgeable basketball fan that it was only a matter of time until the well planned schedule hoax was exposed.......Please read sport writer Mike Vaccaro's story in todays New York Post page 43... If you see only what you want to see, that is a problem that leads to your unfounded and unwarranted insinuations....

I am a big providence fan and I also have witnessed the improvement of pascal chukwu...he is going to become a huge asset ..the current starting center (carson derosiers) is a senior--so its pascals position next year...he will need to bulk up this off-season

I always try to be objective. I haven't had much time this year to post. I knew SJU was vastly overrated at 15. I knew that would be the highest rating they would receive for the next six or seven years, at least. But some people here are complaining about their schedule strength. Saying matter of factly (especially you OT) that their schedule is a hoax, and that they don't play anyone other then Syracuse. Take a look at their SOS. NINE!!! That's their SOS. What are you complaining about? Aside from Syracuse at the Dome, they played Minnesota. They played Gonzaga, which is now ranked about sixth. A good St. Mary's team. Long Beach St. And as far as the home games go, the high majors host the mid majors. It's business. It maximizes revenue for both levels of teams.

to say any big east team plays a soft schedule is silly..i think ot means that the ooc schedule is weak...and it can be , simply because the conference schedule is brutal

OT you cannot be disgruntled about their scheduling. They scheduled their games properly to potentially position themselves in the top 25. They beat teams they were supposed to beat. Something Iona should've done this season (Wofford, Monmouth, George Mason). No excuses. Your supposed to beat those teams. You want more National and Metropolitan area attention, then you go into Arkansas, 5-0, you go into George Mason 8-1 and beat the teams your supposed to beat early on in the season. Honestly, we shouldn't lose more than one game in the MAAC, and the only loss OOC should be Arkansas, (Maybe UMASS). OT, you want to bash St. Johns for their lack of scheduling or favored media coverage, that's injudicious. They have every single advantage over us, and they have not performed poor this year. They have no bad losses, and they beat the teams they were supposed to beat. It's irrelevant to act vacuous, unless we truly have a better team then them and they're struggling, but right now they aren't struggling and they are a talented team and there rank has been warranted by their efforts this year. With that being said, Lets go Gaels. Gotta run away with this MAAC, win Conference tourney and then the media will be more interested and engrossed with us.
