May this Christmas day be fill of peace within your heart. May you be reminded of new birth, and of redeeming love. May you dwell within each moment and savour all you have. May you find hope and power to pray for things that make you sad. May your heart be ever thankful and your faith rise up high in praise. May you know you're loved and treasured on this very special day
Merry Christmas.

Thanks fellows for your thoughts.....Had a wonderful Christmas at one of my daughters home with entire family who treated me like a king...Had to warn them about being to condescending....
A Christmas story...If I told it before, forgive...............
Setting...Island of Kauai western most of the Hawaiian Islands...Christmas Eve 1943...We were guarding probably the largest ammunition dump in the Pacific...It was located at the base of a mountain with a clear view for miles...My buddy and I were stationed up in one of the many watch towers....
Darkness was setting in when off in the far distance we saw the headlights of a approaching vehicle...As it approached the outer fence we observed it to be a early 1930 small truck...The outer guards after looking it over allowed it in...When it reached the main inner gate the guards allowed it to proceed...It entered and stopped. Suddenly all the compounds lights went bright, and Bing Crosby singing ''White Christmas'' blared from the loud speakers...On the vehicle we observed a Salvation Army sign...
Out popped Santa Clause with a loud 'HO HO'......Provided we left a man in the towers we were allow down to Coffee and donuts and a sing along...We all joined in...
A wonderful memory to a platoon of Marine's many of whom would never see another Christmas Eve...and to this day I can not pass a Salvation Army post without contributing...
