Hey OT. That's not SLG's fault and if you wish to discuss it further there's a topic on it on the other forum. Sigael......You are right...I have ignored SLG continued little barbs for some time, but my combative nature compelled me to respond...In doing so I failed to switch back to ''Off TOPICS''

[Got to say in all my years posting here I've never asked Guy to delete or "kill" a thread someone else has taken the time to create. If I'm not interested in a thread or think its irrelevant, I simply don't read it. The beauty of putting a subject in a specific thread is that people can just ignore it if they'd like. Some others might find it interesting or worthy of comment.[/quote]CTbill Good post........There is more and more calls for discontinuing certain subjects... A subject will have a life time of its own...When that period is reached it will die of boredom....I have no objections to that type of a result...What bothers me most is the call for closure from those that simply they don't agree or take issue with the subject discussed... This is called 'CENSORSHIP' and I have lived long enough to see the results when it rears its ugly head...It has already gained a foothold called 'Political Correctness' Be careful what you ask for...You will not like its ever consuming gluttony...

I'm extremely happy with the success of our program under the Cluess era. The best in the metro area over time. He has also accomplished it under difficult circumstances considering our facilities. I'm sure that a number of other programs would give their left nut to have our success. Let's Put a period on the Fordham issue. The Fordham issue is a Period!

Don't ever kill this thread! (more Tianna please) Having trouble reading that tattoo! Is it Fordham, St. John's, or Seton Hall?

ctbill and several others apparently did not recognize my attempt at humor for what it was. I guess I should have used the phrase "off with his head" vs "kill the thread". OT is correct that we should not tolerate or request censorship on this board except in extreme situations. My feeling about Fordham is who cares as they bring nothing to the table with a game other than historically the programs competed against each other. They, St. Johns and anybody else that does not want to schedule Iona, it is their prerogative to do so. I believe if Iona can continue their success we will get good OOC opponents coached by gutsy coaches that want the challenge. But, right now we have to recognize that Iona is a good mid-major program that plays in the MAAC and we are not an attractive OOC opponent for a lot of programs. Additionally, Tianna deserves a separate thread. That would allow easy viewing not cluttered by Fordham or other topics.

"Kill the thread" does mean the same as "off with his head". Huh?
