Even though they are about as dull as Willard's personality they are so far having a fine season.....But... They are 12-2...They have played 11 of those games either at home or neutral courts...The remaining 3 were road games...In these they lost 2 and won 1.....Now they will be tested as they enter the difficult part of their schedule...It is reverse of our scheduling as we play the difficult part early... St. John's is beginning to feel the affects of that type scheduling, and the expected results... So.....Lets not anoint the Hall just yet...The next two weeks as water seeks its lowest level so will college basketball...

OT, no matter how the Hall does in their next few games, I think it is fair to say that Kevin Willard has them moving in the right direction. Their upside, imo, is much greater than St. John's. KW might have a problem when Iaaiah Whitehead returns, as he will have to breakup or at least adjust a team that has played well w/o their best player. And even if they fall back somewhat this year, next year should be even better. Of course I'm assuming no one leaves early for the pro's.

We play 21 different opponents this year...Some are tougher then others...Yet there are boarders that see little difference, and vision every game as tough and downright dangerous...With greater equality in recent years that may be so, but in reality some are harder to win then others...
We in the latest phone line are now a 6 point favorite...The fact that this game is being played in one of the most favorable home courts in the nation reduces the line from 10 to 6.....
There is a certain aura that surrounds Siena basketball and has always led one to believe that they are better then the actually are...Before their last two games they were at their lowest point, but have made a remarkable resurrection...
Using a Dracula example, Lets use a wooden stake this afternoon...
Lets see that any hope of victory remains in their delusional heads.....
If at times my writing tone seems harsh, try to remember its only basketball rhetoric....
