I haven't read ANYTHING about Bobby Gonzalez, lately. Does anyone know what he is doing?

Funny you should ask. I heard he was looking for a job. Predictably, he's not having any luck. Sad.

Last Spring he claimed he was scouting for NBA teams, doing motivational speaking, running basketball clinics and consulting for teams such as SMU and Monmouth. He also claimed he had multiple offers to coach mid major teams and D-League teams but he was looking for the right situation.

I'll tell him ic59 was asking for him!

How would everyone feel if he joined Jeff and JP on the Siena staff? Now that would be worth the inflated price of admission at the TUC.

Another guy that I lost contact with and asked Jeff the other night was Tom Abatemarco. Jeff told me that Tom is an assistant coach at Tulsa.

He was scouting and doing motivational speaking, might still be scouting, but coaching offers as far as I know have not happened.

I do not think he will ever get a NCAA Div 1 job again.
