Bill Self is said to be interested in Thorne. So that's one you can scratch off your list.

Local Kerwin Okoro transfering again Iona86, what ya got? Kerwin Okoro was a 3 star recruit by Rivals and rated an 88 by ESPN. a 6'5" sg/sf , Coming out of St. Ray's he had offers from Iowa State, Arizona, Pitt, Seton Hall, Texas A&M and SJU. He originally went to Iowa State but transferred and got caught up in the transfer circus involving the NCAA and Dick Vitale. Okoro got his waive after Vitale challenged the NCAA on their rejection of the kids request after his father died of a stroke and two months later the kids brother died of cancer. Would have two years of eligibility remaining. Was First-Team All-Bronx by the New York Post, a two-time First-Team All-CHSAA, Kid can run all night and gets to the rim easily. Also a tough defender.

@jonrothstein: Wake Forest transfer Aaron Rountree will visit Iona on Thursday, source told @cbssports. Immediately eligible. 6-8 PF. I knew this was a high probability for us. Aaron Rountree - More a defensive player but 6'8" and has hops. Rated as a three-star and an 89 recruit by ESPN, Rivals and Scout ... Scout ranked him as the No. 25 small forward in the class of 2012 . Smart, athletic, good handle, good passer who likes to facilitate. Good shot out to mid range. He would be dominant in the MAAC... especially on the defensive side. Can run the court and would thrive in Cluess offense. Had offers from Colorado, NC State and Virginia. blip.tv/ballislife/6-7-point-forward-aaron-rountree-ultimate-hs-mix-dynamic-pick-up-for-wake-forest-6185631
