Any word about Rountree. Sounds like he would be a great piece to the puzzle. Hopefully Roundtree doesn't give us the "shaft".

Pretty sure he spells it Rountree without the d, which is cool.

Pretty sure he spells it Rountree without the d, which is cool. It's actually spelled as Raymond Luxury Yacht, but pronounced "Throat-Wobbler Mangrove"'.

Not for nothing, but if my memory serves me right (a big if) Richard Roundtree went to New Rochelle HS. Maybe the Oldtimer can confirm.

"Born in New Rochelle, New York, Richard Roundtree graduated from New Rochelle High School in 1961 and played for the school's undefeated and nationally ranked football team. He attended Southern Illinois University Carbondale."

Thanks, Chelsea. It's nice to know that those little grey cells still work. Sometimes.

Looks like were starting real early fellows in the ''Go get-em Grasso'' comedy...Last year I gave up when the number reached into the 3 dozens...We ended up with a unknown from Greece, an under recruited point guard, and a 1 year transfer from 'Longwood'...I have plenty of time, so I enjoy researching them, but not every possible transfer or recruit in the country...? As to Roundtree....Yes he is out of New Rochelle H.S. a few years back, is 6-7 6-8...He attended Wake for 3 years never averaging more then 3 PPG...He is an fair rebounder of opportunity when the ball comes his way, but is on the slender side...He would have l year left...We should be able to do better......... As to Terence Thompson....Transfer out of Charlotte...also 6-7 6-8 strong body, excellent rebounder and good inside scorer...has 3 years left...Fairly unknown, but interesting more of the ''Go get him Grasso'' type... Its going to be a long period prior to start of 2015-2016 season...I promise to do my best and be careful of my opinions less they be interpreted as insulting.....

Fair points, but I wouldn't be so quick to sell the Wake kid short. And it's not your opinion that is the problem, it's the delivery.

]Fair points, but I wouldn't be so quick to sell the Wake kid short. And it's not your opinion that is the problem, it's the delivery.[/quote] Guy.....If we get the kid from Wake, I will be rooting and cheering him on, hoping he proves me wrong.....That is what makes the sport world the diversion it is from todays anxieties. I am sure the great generation gap has caused the problems with my postings...I come from a world that grew few 'Tender Toes'...The daily hardships forced us to find other ways to endure...One of the less expensive ways was street corner hazing...It cost nothing and after you got good enough to give as much as you took, it was lots of fun and no cost attached...We booed loudly at sporting games, was not afraid to yell 'You Stink' even at Babe Ruth if he happened to strike out...That was the world I grew up in, and is now excepted as ''The greatest generation'' I try very hard to adjust as I age, and I fully except the misunderstandings that might rise, but somewhere deep in my emotions wish for a return to the world of ''Hard work'' instead of ''Hand Outs'' and ''Where is the party tonight.'' Yes, I know what has that got to do with basketball? It off season fellows, remember...

Be that as it may, I can't find fault with any of the young men our staff is recruiting. And like you, OT, I will we rooting hard for anyone wearing the Gael colors.
