Nothing can be more revealing then the greed exhibited by todays society..... Todays sport headline ''Season will be a failure if Rangers don't win it all'' and the follow up story by Hockey sport writer Larry Brooks...There are aprox. two and a half dozen teams in the NHL...Under these guidelines, and Larry Brooks ''Child'' type selfish opinion only the eventual NHL champ will be a success, and all others a failure..... I remember well an era when teams that had not won in decades were adored by their fans and were not considered failures...Of course this was a time when satisfaction ruled far above ''Nothing but the best will do'' expectations...

OT, all teams have different expectations. Iona fans want to win it all. Siena fans are happy if they can avoid the PIG.

That's Uncle Larry being Uncle Larry - taking a controversial stance for the sake of selling newspapers. Failure - No. Bitter Disappointment - Yes.
