Isaiah Washington is Jelly Isaiah isn’t “Jelly.” His signature move is a finger roll, aka “jelly.” He, Sid Wilson, Jordan Walker, Jahvon Quinerly, and a few others started the “Jelly Fam,” which became a social media phenomenon. And it also must mean you transfer from your original destination, as they all have.

This kid was mentioned in the transfer thread, and would have been a great fit for Iona next year. Carter is not a shooter/scorer but in his 2 full years at Marquette and LaSalle he has a A/TO ratio of 283/146 and 104 steals. Even averaged close to 3rpg. Hope the uncertainty of the coaching position didn't play a role. Eligible right away

We were reported to have been a finalist for his services.

thought he would have provided exactly what Iona needs next season. I think we can do better Hope so. We kind of hear that every year (not from you). Carter has some really impressive stats. Siena has Edwards and Langford, visiting today and wouldn't be a total shock if they get commitments from one or both. Have zero interest in Edwards. Would take Langford but he has to sit. The one I want is Washington, especially if he gets granted a waiver. Some rumors he might want to be part of a package with Quinnerly (who I want no part of), which makes zero sense.

So I don't expect to hear about anyone committing to Iona while Cluess is "in the mix for the SJ's job." Cluess can of course solve this problem with a simple quote "I'm not interested in the SJ's job". But even though he's out recruiting for Iona, he's not saying that, so it is what it is.

I know that the numbers are not cast in stone, but it seems (based on last year's roster and with the graduation of Rickey) we have 10 guys on the roster. And McNeill and Ortale bring the count to 12, thus one opening. Guys leaving unexpectedly happens almost every year, and will probably happen this year, as well. Last year, I don't remember if there was a recruiting press release, but hopefully that will not be the case this year. The late signing has started with LOI's being signed. Will there be a release to announce our two commits? If the answer is, the college will wait until recruiting is completed. But, in the words of TC, recruiting never ends.

Just my preference but I’d rather not see speculation about who should be leaving on this board.
