Guy, not a bad point, though not all of your generation agrees with you. IONA05, for example. My point is that TC did finish what he started by getting to the PS. I am thinking that in a prior life you were Oliver Twist, who was made famous by asking, "More Sir!"

And then it will be win a first round game and then.................. . Incorrect. I have been very consistent with this, whether getting crushed by Ohio State or getting upset by Manhattan--the goal is to win the MAAC and get to the NCAAs. It still is.

Iona's. Do you seriously believe their goal isn't the NCAAs every year?

Guy, just read on Zagsblog, that Kevin Willard, SH, said that his/their goal this year was to do some damage in the Big Dance. And you're saying that TC will be happy just to make the Big Dance? Wow! Talk about low expectations. Did he at least say that he wanted to get a player/players invited to Portsmouth? And I guess graduating some guys would be out of the question?

I can't wait for the season to start. Most of our questions about this team will be answered very quickly.

Guy, check TC's record. In ever year under TC we have have played post-season games. I think he is the ONLY Iona coach who can make that claim, but am not sure about Brother Loftus. Problem is unrealistic expectations, though I do realize that fan is short for fanatic. I hate to run out of gas but TC has taken us on a very nice ride. And I'm told that he has added an auxiliary gas tank, this year. SO enjoy the ride. In fairness, the other coaches didn't have the CBI, CIT, SAT, ACT, PMI and all the other tourneys that now take 150 teams.... :-)

Of course, that's a different scenario for more reasons than I can count, but you keep trying, sparky.
