Monmouth paying the RPI price for playing in the MAAC. They defeat Canisius handily and fall out of the Top Twenty to #22. The team they defeated, on the other hand, moves up eight soots to 170. Iona is at 160, only places behind Fordham. It's been a long time since Iona has been ranked (RPI) behind Fordham in January.

Fordham does appear to be a little better, but they IMO will remain about where they are...Lack of height will be tough to overcome, and now their schedule enters tough zone.... When Canisius beat Monmouth it did not get attention it deserved... Our game against Monmouth probably biggest games so far of MAAC season...If we can win the next two games which my guess we will be double figure favorites, the line for the Monmouth game will be close to pick-em with the chance because we will be at home with our winning streak a slight favorite... And from what I hear its probably ''MUCH to do about just a little''

Interesting, hadn't thought of what the spread will be when Monmouth visits. The computers will say numbers along what you suggested, but Vegas may give us a bit more juice than that given the length of our winning streak.

Would be surprised if we are an underdog on our home floor.

Agree. No way we will be underdogs. I can see Iona favored by anywhere between 1-4.

I would think Monmouth would be a favorite (-5)pts Only if 4 of our starters are guys who post to this Board.

I would make 40% of my 3s in Cluess' offense.

We are REALLY good at home, but I was at the tex southern and niagra home games. Those games could have gone either way. They are both Bad teams, very bad. Monmouth is a whole lot better. I think vegas will make the hawks a small favorite(-2). If we play the same way against Monmouth it will be over early.
