I'd like to win this game, but history tells me otherwise. Remember, last year we opened against FSU, and lost by 19. And this year we have more roster turnover. And I'm not sure how good the team will be, but I'm guessing that with so many newbies we'll start slowly. So I'll take a guess that we start with a loss.

I forgot to add, that top to bottom, that this might be our best schedule in years. Maybe ever, when the OOC ratings come out.

Tall order to ask Gaels to win this game in the Dome. Will probably be a double digit underdog.

Now that Syracuse is confirmed, looks like the schedule is finalized. 30 total games. 18 conference games plus the following:
@ Syracuse (11/11 or 11/12) Bahamas Showcase (11/17-11/19): 3 Games (Bradley, Coastal Carolina, Duquesne, Northern Kentucky, UTSA, Vermont, Weber State) @ SJU (12/17) @ URI (12/21)
Yale (Date TBD) FDU (Date TBD) @ NJIT (Date TBD) @ Ohio (Date TBD) @ Albany (Date TBD) @ Holy Cross (Date TBD)
I'm sure some of the dates above have been confirmed, and there are others who are in the know.

One negative to the schedule, now that there is no Maac December home game we will have just 2 home dates before the new year, likely the least ever in November/December.

Looking at that boxscore, I wonder if we would have won that game if we played with five players?!?

[/quote] O5....Syracuse was 18-15 last year and no great shakes...They will enter this year without a Senior and 1 Jr. of consequence...They will be extremely young and inexperienced.... They will of course have at least a 5 point home court advantage...If we can come up with a big man of some consequence IMO we will be somewhere between a 7-9 point dog....If the game was later in the OOC schedule our chances would improve, but they will also have the same early season problem especially with a very young squad...
