Think Dunne will be the next name you hear leaving Marist.

Think Dunne will be the next name you hear leaving Marist. What prompted this conclusion? Isn’t he cleaning house and making room for his “type” players, the same as Grasso is doing at Bryant?

A very interesting Seton Hall-Marquette game, last night. SH won by two, though Marquette had a makeable 3pt attempt at the buzzer. Game lasted about 2.5 hours and was over about 12:15 AM. There were eight technicals, three ejections, and about 87 fouls called. TV guys called out the refs. Fun to watch.

I thought it was painful to watch, they couldn’t make a play,a whistle every 5 seconds made it annoying for me anyway.

iona81, you're probably correct. I was in a silly mood and couldn't wait to see how the refs would screw up next. I'll admit I was rooting for OT. I've seen a lot of college BB, and this is a game I'll remember (for all the wrong reasons).

I have to say that the way Willard managed that was brilliant. If I was a conspiracy theorist I would have said that the refs had it in for Seton Hall. A few of those calls were clearly ridiculous and almost all went against Seton Hall. The tech was nonsense. Player said nothing and ran down to the other end of the court. I was very impressed how Willard kept his cool, kept his team cool and walked out of there with a win.

I thought Willard handled himself professionally as well although it’s easier to do right after a win,had they lost his reactions might have been different, and yes the last technical was REALLY bad to the point of action possibly being taken against the refs.

thehat, can't argue with your MAAC assessment, but just a reminder, the MAAC, once again was playing on the road.
