proctor is a better all around player than casimir casimir should have stayed and i can compare it who used a scholarship on him when he was out and the year it took him to recover as he played? and he left because he didn't want to fight for playing time after having success at Iona, sad he didn't think winning and dancing was worth fighting for Stop. Iona was obligated to pay for his scholarship because he was injured and needed the surgeries while he was on scholarship at Iona. So that's why you hate the guy? Because he left after missing a year? So his contributions that helped Iona win MAAC championships don't mean anything. Got it. Proctor wouldn't have gotten the time of day at Iona, never mind significant PT. The Iona system for guards relies on 3-point shooting. Proctor is not in the same league as far as perimeter shooting. Proctor is going to need a huge Sr. season to pass Casimir in A/TO ratio and steals. i didn't say shooting casimir has that talent, but not better on defense, assists rebounds or 2pt fg's

Never thought I'd hear Proctor's name again LOL. I've got no ill will towards anyone. At the end of the day it's their education that will be most important to them. Doubt either guy has the potential to play Pro, but who knows.

Proctor had a pretty good year. Led hus team with 19 PPG. Sellers didn't have a good year at all.

epatrick, just a suggestion, don't reply to someone who only masquerades (at least I hope it's a mask) as an Iona fan. He's shameless, and it's a waste of time to try to talk sense to him.
P.S. For those who don't know epatrick, he's a legendary Iona fan, and alum. It's not that he's only missed a few games over the years, it's how far he has to travel from his home in NJ to get to NR for games and other Alumni meetings and events. To say nothing about following the Gaels "on the road". Just wished I had a dollar for every mile he's travelled (plus tolls). He's an All Time Great Gael fan, in the Mike Barnes category.

I can speak for both parties that they are both great fans. I70 also comes from kinda far away and also goes to a ton of road games, including the long-distance ones.

While we are at it, let's do a thread about Iona 1970. We can say what we like or dislike about him. Is he a true Gael or not? We could include the art of composition, reason and subtlety. Let's ask Ced to start the thread.

Going back to the purpose of this thread where does Rickey rank as an all-time Gael PG (true PGs only)?

Assuming Aj English is not a true pg # 5 behind Rory Grimes, Scott Macho, Glenn Vickers, and John McDonald. No Momo? I don’t think Momo or AJ can be considered true PGs although they did bring the ball up for TC’s teams. I would put Rickey ahead of McDonald but behind the rest of the list above. McCullough was also a very good PG, although I think Rickey should rank ahead of him.
