Can you post who tweeted Pickett started some shit? I don’t know about the tweets, but as much as I like Pickett’s game in general, he does have a bit of the “golden boy” aura about him. He seems to get away with a lot of sneaky crap, and when he does get called on it he is a real whiner. That two handed shove to the back of a Rider player last night is just one example of sneaky, bush league crap from him. Agreed. I think a lot of this crazy NBA talk about him has gone to his head. Great MAAC player, but the furthest thing you can get from a NBA talent.

Was he congratulating them? You lost by 18 to a team that dominated you. Iona played fairly. Perhaps Pickett should be jawing with Fisher instead.

Fischer's shot at Gist was inexcusable. Looked like everyone was jawing though when he got his second tech and got ejected. I don't know what Pickett is "having words" with anyone about.

1. My video was fine. 2. Didn't see many Iona fans at the game. Did we have any busses? Will we, tomorrow? 3. Asante's game was gist what we needed. 4. I'm not sure but I'm guessing that most Iona fans want Monmouth to beat Canisius, because they think that Canisius will be a tougher game. And Monmouth will be playing their third game in three days. It reminds me of the MAAC tourney in the 90's when Sean Green scored about 43 points and we beat Siena in OT. In the other game, St. Peter's upset the favorite (Manhattan?), and I thought for sure we'd win. Needless to say, we didn't. Of course TC wasn't the coach. 5. Congrats to the Gaels for reaching another MAAC final.

Extra recognition should be given to McGill and Gist for making clutch shots, thwarting a potential late Siena run. We were teetering on the edge where the score was in danger of slipping to single digits and we managed to keep that comfortable double digit lead.

Seymour was on fire last night against Rider from 3. He came down to earth a bit today. Reminds me of a a few years back when IW made 6 or 7 threes and then came out the next game and struggled. Hard to put up those back to back hot shooting nights.

Hard to put up those back to back hot shooting nights. He made the wide open threes, and missed on those with a defender on him. He is the easiest kid to defend in the league. He did have 1 rebound tonight, to end the year with 24 rebounds in 33 games playing 27mpg, simply amazing for a 6'9'' kid

It is absurd that you're the one seed in a tournament and have to play a true road game.

Great game and master coaching scheme by the staff!
Clutch answers from Gist, Rickey and Risto every time it felt like Siena was going on a run.
