The drive for five starts next weekend in Philly.
LaSalle was 9th in the A-10 last season with a 10-21 record. Will be a huge challenge for us playing in their gym on opening night, but it’s certainly a winnable game.
Go Gaels!!!

Team only has 6 players coming back, lost their point guard and are not bigger than us. And a new coach The excuse we don't know each other doesn't work here, we should win this game by 8-10 pts

They will have a good crowd and we aren’t going to get a lot of calls, that being said road games are never easy.IMO we are a much better team, our main players are experienced and shouldn’t be bothered by any other factors there.

If we defend a bit, I fully agree with you. If we look up and LaSalle's shooting 55%, could easily lose.

Agree we are the better team, but never easy to win on the road especially on opening night against an A10 team in their building. Expect the line to be somewhere around 1-3, would be surprised if it’s one sided in either direction.

I would expect Iona to be favored by 1.5 to 2 points if I had to guess.

The computers are all still giving LaSalle a slight edge, and Vegas will lean on that early. I am suggesting a slight Iona bias nudge and will stick with my pick'em guess.

ESPN has a 52/48% split in Iona’s favor. Bottom line, this is not a gimme game, and we are going to have to play very well to come out of Philly with a W.
