I read it the same way, joebird. I'm not worried, though, (1) we don't need to bullseye on our back (2) it will have our guys playing with a little bit of a chip on their shoulder. I say let everyone under-rate us, the Gaels will show their stuff on the court.

No doubt that both Fairfield and Iona will be good, as will Rider and Loyola. In fact from top to almost bottom, the MAAC should be strong. As the story infers it is a question of chemistry, when calculating how the top two teams will perform. More specificly, how Mo Mo and Needham handle the move from PG to OG. For what it's worth, Mo Mo looked comfortable at the two guard on Saturday.

It should be close between the two teams. I didn't find it tipping the scales one way or the other except the Cooley quotes that are obviously were pro Fairfield.
