I will be traveling on Friday and Sunday and was hoping to listen to the games on my Droid. However, I see that IonaInsider is not carrying the games.
Anyone know if there's a way to catch the games on the phone with an ESPN app or something?
Thanks.
Go Gaels!!!

Go Gaels!!! 1) Did Iona develop an app for the droid? 2) There's an iphone app called "watch ESPN" that shows content from ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPN3. Not sure if there is a droid version.

Thanks, Nick.
There is a Droid app for Iona. SID says it will allow listening to games,
The ESPN Droid app I saw looked just to be ESPN. I'll check again to see if it carries 2 and 3.

You will be able to listen, Z... I haven't set up the events just yet because they Neulion just configured it correctly late this week. You can test it out by listening to our women's game today at 2:30... Gary Stanley listened yesterday and said it sounded pretty good. I myself (ironically) don't have the premium app yet haha.

SID, you are the greatest.
I downloaded the pay app today and went on the site. I was able to watch the video about men's soccer (although it was a little choppy), but was not able to view any of the "News" items about the lady's game. I can view them on my PC, but on the Droid I get a message "The application Iona Gaels (process com.neulion.andriod.college sports.Iona.premium) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again." and then it allows me to hit "Force close".
I'll be watching the ladies on IonaInsider and will see how the Droid app works.
Thanks again!
Go Gaels!!!

SID, I'm listening to the pre-game interview with Tony Bozzella right now on my Droid. It's coming through great. Thanks for your help!

Quite frankly, the audio sounds better on the Droid than it does on the IonaInsider site. They are doing the introductions now and I cannot understand a word.

I think we fixed that audio on the video issue in the second half. They are sent up on two different channels and our crew had the audio connection in the wrong spot.

Bri, the audio did get better in the second half. It was still a bit "tinny", but very much improved. I noticed a lot of stops and starts during the game. I don't know whether that's just an early season glitch or a problem with my computer.
I did have the game on my Droid for the entire game and the sound was very good.
I watched/listened to the entire game and through the presentation of the awards. Tough game for the ladies, but there is a lot of talent on the team.
Thanks again for all of your help!
Go Gaels!!!
