My Little League team, basically a group of 8-year-olds playing against mostly 9s and 10s all season, had a rough go of it this year, with a 3-15 regular-season record and a last-place finish. Things weren't much better a couple innings into tonight's quarterfinal, as we were down 8-1.

We won 12-10.

Just one--I hit the floor when my son drilled an absolute rope down the right field line, by far the hardest he's hit the ball all season.
