Great story on Kevin Houston

Neat human interest story following the tragedy in Kevin's life.

Kevin led the country in scoring and ft% while at West Point. He was the most unlikely-looking player you might imagine. He had some legendary games against us and scored 53 against Fordham in a MAAC tourney game at the Meadowlands, sparking a second half comeback from a 17 point deficit. ;D
He comes from a great hoops family. His father played with Cluess's brother at SJU.

His brother Jerry played one year at Iona, before transferring. For Jerry Welsh, I believe. Since my wife watches "Live With Kelly", formerly, "Live With Regis and Kelly", I got to watch Kevin's wedding, last week. Also, got to meet Kevin when we both worked at Verizon. We had a mutual friend, and he's a really nice guy. Very quiet and unassuming. Glad he's getting a second chance at love.

Kevin was one of my students in Pearl River. I think Gerry Jr. coaches hoops there now.
