Also with offers from UAB and Hawaii.
We also offered a 6-5 guard named Isaac Vann, originally from Stratford CT. He's a good friend of Casimir's.

Jeremiah Worthem - 6'6" SF/PF out of Indian Hills CC ( Mike Haynes JUCO ) Had offers from Temple, Lasalle, Drexel, Iona, Delaware, Siena, Charlotte, Stony Brook, St. Joe's, Wagner, Niagara, Quinny, Rice, Rider and LIU before he committed to Robert Morris. Also had interest from Nova and PITT. He was a three star recruit and is tough around the rim, getting a large amount of his points off of offensive rebounds and in transition. He is very strong and tough. Runs the baseline well and finishes in contact. Very athletic and can guard bigger players because of his strength and athletics. Has a good jumper out to about 16'. Needed to work on his handle and passing coming out of high school to be a true 3. He was averaging 8.9 points and 4.1 rebounds per game as a starting forward as a freshman at Robert Morris. He was suspended, along with three other players, for a 1 year mandatory period following a major school violation that was neither criminal or academic in nature. Since the suspension would not have been lifted until late January of the following year he decided to go to JUCO so he would not lose a year with an NCAA transfer or basically lose a year coming back to Robert Morris out of shape and not game ready and only be able to play in a handful of games. He was a teammate of former Iona player Mike McFadden.
Here is a video of his high school team playing against South Shore (NY). He is going up against former Iona recruit Shamiek Sheppard. He had 12 points and 11 rebounds in this game.

Isaac Vann - 6'5" SG/SF plays at Coastal Academy and is originally from Bunnell High School in Stratford, CT. Has offers from Iona, Canisius and Sacred Heart. Quinny and CCSU are also in him. The kid is an amazing athlete with great hops and an amazing wingspan for his height. Very exciting player who is working hard on improving his 3 point shooting and needs a little muscle. New England Recruiting Report ranked him as the 10th best player in CT last season. Casimir was ranked 14th, He averaged 22.4 ppt and 11.5 rpg as a senior.
HS junior year highlights:
AAU footage at the Summer championships in NY. Casimir is on this video as well. You will also notice the tough competition they were facing.

Bunnell High is where former Gael Nakiea Miller went, and also where my own kids will go.

Isaac Vann - plays with my son on USAD U-17 AAU, along with a few other D-1 prospects. He is a quality person and a very talented basketball player, who also happens to be quite a student! He is 6'5" SG/SF plays and several D-1 schools have taken notice. I believe he will be a very good D-1 player along the lines of a Marshon Brooks type, but a better defender. One more year building his body and he could have a great Gael career. If we don't land him I hope he ends up playing for coach who pushes the ball up the court like we do. Congrats to Isaac!

There are some very impressive people on the above video. Casimier looks good, but would I like to see #51 join him in Maroon and Gold. The young man can play, and I wish him well.

He averaged 17.2 points per game for his high school career. Went to Ball State but left after missing 2/3's of his freshman season with an injury. Averaged 11.9 ppt at Dade before having season ending wrist surgery in January. Ramey was ranked one of the top 25 shooters in the country by ESPN for the class of 2012. His Dade coach said: “Michael can really shoot the ball,” said Head Coach Stephen Cowherd. “He has good experience being a sophomore and from playing Division I basketball last year, and he works his butt off.”

He is certainly a very good spot, catch and shoot 3 point shooter. Unfortunately his video doesn't show if he has a good enough handle to keep defenders honest. Sean Armand became so much better when he started to slash to the basket.

No penetration to the hoop in that video, brought about bad memories of what Shane Richards did in the MAAC final.

Always hard to tell from one video, but that one told me nothing, Most of those shots were so wide open Super could have hit them!
