Last thing we need is for our last recruit to be a dog.

Siena just signed a PG, and naturally Siena fans are making it sound like he's the next Derek Needham. He had originally signed with Tulane, but decommited when there was a change of coaches. The article on him states what a good shooter he is (if I remember correctly) but if it were up to me, I'd want a PG who is a pass first, shoot later type. Naturally you'd like both, but, IMO, ball handler is first.

Still a couple of weeks to go in the signing period. My quess is the staff as well as some of the most targeted prospects are being very selective... holding out as long as possible... maybe until a dominoe effect begins.

I think this season hinges on the development of Williams, McFadden and McGill. Can a freshman big really make an impact?

Grimes was a great player.
My fonest memory of him was the game at Rose Hill where he dunked the ball.
I don't think anyone knew he could dunk.

I think it'll be a transfer Unless it's a bigtime frontcourt player, I don't think a transfer makes much sense.

It is interesting that no names have surfaced at this late date. Front court help is needed. Even so, I think Chris Pelcher can be counted on to contribute. Agree that a JUCO transfer would be a possibility. They are usually late signers.

Different rules for JUCO's... there is no signing period for them.
