OT-Bad News

Jaime Wohlbach who took Iona's softball team to the NCAAs last season is leaving for the University Delaware.

In three seasons, Wohlbach quickly turned the Gaels program around and led Iona to its first NCAA Tournament. She had a very good class coming in this fall. Wish her luck and hope Pat can come up with another great hire.

She did a great job and is leaving a lot of young talent behind - hard to compete against a state schools athletic budget - let's hope her recruits stay. Best of luck to her at Delaware.

I can't remember the names, but I remember being impressed by their bios. One of them was another young lady from New Zealand.
