Nice to see accurate information showing up on this board. Not quite sure what that means. From time to time we've had some fairly misguided "predictions" about coaches arriving in the past. Although its always a little late to the table its nice to see it in "print". |

Realize you're trying for some laughs, but you're looking bad here. |

Oh come on now. This is a message board not a beauty contest.
I've always felt that a little back and forth between posters makes message boards a little more lively. If we're going to have to lighten up here I'll certainly change my posting behavior.
Maac board aside which I do not follow in the off season, I've not seen any poster here that is very accurate on predicting future events aside from IC59 who has a good gut feel about goings on.
I'm sure Tau has no ill will towards my pointing out he made a horrible Massiello to Iona call.

Also, I'm not sure it's "right" to rip someone for getting something wrong when you yourself don't bring any info to the table. Don't bite the hand that feeds you. Finally, I was dead on JUST YESTERDAY re Hameed, saying that it wasn't a done deal, and now OldGael11 is saying that it's not happening. Bottom line: there are numerous posters out here who try to bring us info, and we all have different sources. Sometimes info is good, other times it's not going to be accurate. The thing to remember is that we're all just passing along what we hear; none of us are actually PART of the Iona basketball program and as such there's no guarantee stuff we hear is going to be accurate. |

I think both Iona boards are great...all of the rumors/info which appear on it just add to the conversation and excitement...Guy F and tau are especially good at what they do...they get far more right than wrong IMO...they are true warriors on other local/MAAC boards too.

Good scoop on Kashif Guy and oldgael. AS for Ichoops, Ive been wrong a few times but Im just passing on the info that I get. The bad scoop I got was from a close friend of Masiello's, this same source also told me the next day when nothing was announced that another name came into play, that being Cluess. This same source also said it might be a good thing Iona passed on Masiello, heard some no so flattering things about him and his pops. IChoops owes me a few beers for all that I bring to the table. |
