In the past 25 to 30 years.........how would you rank the MAAC Schools for Men's Basketball, considering Regular and Post Season accomplishments. This a reflection of their complete body of work.
My unscientific stab at ranking the current long standing members of the MAAC...Iona, Siena, Manhattan, Rider, St. Peters, Niagara, Fairfield, Canisius and Marist. I would sure feel better about putting Iona in the #1 slot if they had an NCAA win......but winning 60% of reg season games.......an even higher MAAC tourney percentage......most MAAC wins.......most MAAC Bids gave them a slight edge for me.

Fair rankings. Iona deserves to be ahead of Siena, which also got to host the tournament all those years while Iona has not. Yes, I know the reasons why, but that's not part of the discussion.
Of course, if you are ranking PROGRAMS on the whole, it makes it tougher to put Iona first because of Siena's fan base size compared to everyone else.
Re the others, I'd put Niagara ahead of both St Peter's and Rider, as Niagara's won some MAAC titles and has had other postseason bids as well. Rider's never done much of anything other than put up above-average success in MAAC play, and SPC basically stepped in shit a couple times and got lucky.

All I know is when talking about Rider and Marist I think Subtraction by Addition, neither one of them have done anything notable since entering this league. Only Rider could have an NBA lottery pick an still never make the tourney! For that reason alone they should always be ninth! Iona, Siena and Manhattan are the backbone of this league.

As much as it pains me to say it, I think you gotta put Siena ahead of us due to success in the NCAA tournament. We offset each other in the conf championship category (5 to 5), Iona has advantage in the at-large category (1 to 0), but Siena destroys us in the NCAA wins and seedings category, so that's gotta put them slightly above us.
