Hopefully we pack Hynes tomorrow. The guys are riding a 7 game winning streak and are home for the first time since the big Manhattan game. They deserve a great turnout and everyone's support. Hopefully we won't have to sweat this one out.
Go Gaels!!!

St Peters usually plays us well, particularly in latter meetings in a season. I don't expect to lose by any means, but I don't expect to destroy them.

Early line has us as a 14.5 point favorite. As we learned from last year's game vs. Marist, that line obviously means nothing.

If any students read this, please bring it like the Manhattan game… That was awesome…A true home court advantage…

how about we do something crazy, and have both sides sand and cheer? is that asking to much?

[/quote] 05....As much as enjoy your informative postings I must take issue with the above...If you mean that any team on a given day can upset another, and each game must be decided on the court, I fully agree...But to imply that a line established by professionals ''means nothing'' is a great exaggeration...Iona is the overwhelming favorite on its home court and deservedly so...Would you bet St. Pete's at even money?....

OT...my point was just that the game is played on the court and not on the betting sheets. If we come out flat we will lose regardless of the spread.

Line has dropped to 13. SPU must be trendy pick.

Let 's get excited its game day! Thank goodness the weather is not going to interfere. Who is coming out big for us tonight? Sean? As he plays his last several home games he will become nostalgic and motivated to play hard. Tre? Or Mike? I am hoping all three seniors have great games down the stretch. Let's keep the ride going by providing a vocal and supportive crowd! Need to finish strong and not allow St Peters to dictate tempo for large stretches. "Fast and Furious"! Let's GO GAELS!

Definitely not "Fast and Furious". St Peters controlling the tempo, not allowing any transition baskets. Never thought I would see a halftime score like this at 24-22. Hopefully halftime adjustments turn things around. We need to finish at the rim and hit more open shots.
