Last play of the game was executed terribly......needing 3 with 10 seconds left should have been enough time to get the ball in the hands of a legit 3 point shooter...especially for a team that leads the entire nation in 3 pointers made.....

Congratulations to the Jaspers. They totally took us out of our game.. Great game plan by Massiello. Much as I hate it and I Loved this team, we didn't deserve it tonight.

Tough one. We had open looks @ 3's in first half, won't go down. I think back to December and all those ooc games we let slip bye. If we had played better ball than we would still be in the discussion.

Manhattan made us play their game and made us play ugly. Although we lost by 3, it felt like we lost by a lot more. 3s didn't fall in the first half and we had very few attempts in the 2nd half. I feel for Sean and the seniors. They never gave up, but we seemed to be in a hole most of the game. Hopefully, they will go on a run in the NIT and get to play together for a while longer. Tough one to swallow.
Go Gaels!!!

Oh, and as much as it pains me to say it, a tip of the cap to Masiello and The Jaspers.
Go Gaels!!!

Tough Tough game. Keep your heads up guys! It is so tough to be in a league like the MAAC where for the most part only one team gets to go to the tourney. Clearly the Top 4 seeds from the MAAC could play with the big boys.
You have to give credit to Manhattan though. They did a great job with their game plan and they really stuck to it. Even when we came back on them they didn't change it. FYI, I would love to know what Masiello said to Cluess at the end there. They were in close and it really looked like a rather sincere and genuine conversation.
Good luck to the Jaspers.
We finish with two loses over the final 16 games both to the team picked to win the conference. Would love to have had Williams for those 5 games that he missed. I believe that we were 1-4 during that stretch. Turning two of those L's into W's might have at least made us bubble worthy (24-8 vs. 22-10).

Tempo wise this was a championship/NCAA game. Not your typical Manhattan-Iona game. Jaspers played great D. Richards was money in the second half. Most of the year he couldn't buy a basket, but he stepped up big time. We lost him 3 or 4 times and he made his FT's. Couldn't believe our luck when Kates missed the second, but AJ picked up his dribble too soon and all he could find for a three was Dave. Congrats to Manhattan - they just outplayed us.

What just happened? Didn't they just turn it over? Still don't know what happened with that play. Didn't they throw it out of bounds? Came back from a break and Manhattan had the ball back. Announcers said nothing. Anyone know?

I like all the guys on this team. I really like Williams a lot. Just a guy who does a lot and has a great motor. Feel badly for Sean, Bowman, et. al. At least they get to play more basketball. Hopefully they take the NIT seriously and play with intensity.

Took a look at the MAAC board. Amazing how classless, and stupid, morons like SIenasoup and emptys, both Siena fanatics, are.

I expected to see us inbounding the ball and saw what looked like Manhattan in-bounding it under their basket.

I hope to see them in the Garden.
