Some of you should remember Brian Donohue. One of the Top shot put throwers in the U.S. during the 80's. He was a monster and a really nice guy who had a try out with the Jets back in 1986. First time I met him was in the weight room and I think he ate more in a day then I could lift and I was 6'2" 225lbs and in good shape . He made me look like a little kid. He threw the shot and played football his senior year. If I remember correctly the Daily News ran a story on him breaking all the jets weight lifting records in camp and that he was considered a project for them since he was away from big time football (original Texas State recruit I think). He did not sign the pro contract with them since the Olympic committee had not made the decision to re-instate Renaldo Nehemiah and Brian wanted to be an Olympian. Saw him on an episode of Rescue Me last year and catch him acting in other movies and TV shows from time to time. He is still a big boy. Glad to see he is doing well. Here he is during the WWF days back in the early 90's as the Dublin Destroyer...lol. Like I said a really great guy. www.in.com/videos/watchvideo-high-energy-vs-the-dublin-destroyer-dwayne-gill-2327535.html
