Reading story of football player who claimed he injured his ankles jumping off a 2nd story balcony in a attempt to save his young nephew who was drowning in the pool brought back this memory.... A radio call stated to respond to a street location...Report of a man hobbling and falling down frequently on a residential street...The responding Officer found the person in severe pain and unable to go further...A ambulance responded and conveyed to the hospital where he was found to have broken both ankles. Officers investigation revealed.....Injured man was having sex in a 2nd fool apartment with a women not his wife...Hearing the husband coming up the step he jumped out the window to the patio pavement causing injury... With his report the officer is required to file a aided card with the primary question being ''Action taking by recording officer'' He wrote simply ''Advised injured party to make sure next girl friend lived on 1st floor'' At one time part of my duties was to review all reports...What could I have improved?...I just signed it and forwarded it to records...
