According to today’s edition of The Ionian, that is the targeted date for the closing of the Mirage Diner as Iona takes its first steps in the preparation for the building of the new dorm.

It'll always be remembered as the College Diner to me. Enjoyed many a early morning breakfast after the 4am North Ave bar closings. Progress.

College Diner it was. In my day the beautiful Barbara Walzac was a server. Coffee and a looker steps away from campus! "Those were the days." A. Bunker

Remember, the plan is for retail stores to occupy the first floor - which is the case any time Iona builds on North Avenue. It is expected some type of food establishment will return in one form or another. Also, it is expected that the College Bookstore will move to the new dorm as well.
