The official Iona site has its Game Center up, but when I tried to read the Iona Game Notes, mostly to see if the Texas Tech transfer is playing, I ended up with the Lady Rams A10 Media Day. Does anyone know if I'm doing something wrong?

hey - Brian - if you are reading this - I just re-signed up for Iona Insider - took me to the MAAC site - I enetered credit card, seemed to be working, but now when I try to listen to the women's game it is telling me I don't have any packages. Frustrating - last year was a big mess also.

The transfer from Texas Tech is named as a starter. Also, looks like Casidee Ranger shrunk by 5" over the off season.

greg, keep in mind that Fordham is the defending A10 champ, and has had back to back 25+ win seasons, so I'm expecting that they'll make a run at us in the second half. That said the Iona Women are playing great, and Damika, and Joy (13 points) are as good as advertised. Marina Lazarieu (Sp?) played the entire half, and leads the team in assists. Of course we know that assists on the road are hard to come by. We have 17 baskets and eight or nine assists. Fordham has about nine field goals and about seven assists. Go figure.

Forgot to add that there is a story on the Iona site, announcing three early signees for the Women. Congrats to Coach Godsey and her staff.

Whoever is doing live stats for Fordham must have gotten fed up with 7 minutes left and walked away. Stuck at 7:09.

I don't care if it's an alumni childrens jump-rope competition, always good to hammer the Rams

Actually the lead, I believe, was cut to 12 points at 49-37, but that was as close as it got. The Men will have their work cut out for them to match the Women's performance.
