I have never been a fan of the 5th year rental players, but will admit that Rountree is an exception worth making. Just what we needed. Just wish he had 1 more year of eligibility after this.

Per Zags twitter. Eric Paschall to commit to Villanova. I guess Fordham didn't have much of a choice, but surprised they let him drag this out so long, while lots of players they could have recruited committed to other programs. I am pretty sure I saw a recent blog that he was even practicing with Fordham while taking visits to other schools. Not sure if this is normal in transfer situations, but sounds strange to me

I agree Villanova is a perfect fit for Paschall

I know that Paschall had a good Freshman year but he looked out of shape to me. Also, it's possible that Tom Parotta 'pushed' him to his friend Jay Wright, as the Fordham board indicated that Parotta (Sp?) and Paschall are close.

New Jersey Native Eli Carter is transferring from Florida one year of eligibility left wouldn't be surprised if we make a play for him.

Carter is a decent player, but to be honest I hope the staff will not be recruiting him. More hype than player. Not a good shooter and turns the ball over. Plus, will take away shots from Casimir, IW and AJ who are much better perimeter shooters. If a scholarship does open, the staff can do better in my opinion
