One unintended victim of the New York Rangers continued run in the Stanley Cup Playoffs is the havoc it will wreck with graduation on Saturday. The area that was going to be used for a staging area for graduation is now being used because of Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Final. The Rangers and MSG can't even do anything about it because NBC is dictating the 1pm faceoff so that they have a lead-in for their Preakness coverage.

Wow. That's has all the potential to be a hot mess. All the more reason to invest in a new HAC! New building/arena wouldn't make a difference. Iona likes the idea and appeal of having graduation in NYC. The College wants to take every advantage of the City that they can. In the future, Iona might want to stay away from Preakness weekend in terms of graduation dates  |

Let's Go Rangers! No kidding. As exciting as it gets Super! Actually got ahead of myself--yesterday's 2-1 over Tamp Bay was the 15th consecutive one goal game. They are 7-0 this post-season in 2-1 games. |

No kidding. As exciting as it gets Super! Actually got ahead of myself--yesterday's 2-1 over Tamp Bay was the 15th consecutive one goal game. They are 7-0 this post-season in 2-1 games. Tampa Bay goalie, Ben Bishop's dad and I are good friends. I will be seeing Ben III in about two months at his sister's wedding here in St. Louis. While I was Ranger fan pre '79 - not so much right now. Who knows, I might even get to drink from the Stanley Cup.  |
