Did anyone see the end of the Rutgers-St. John's game? If that happened to us, I'd suggest we cancel the remainder of the season. At least the two missed calls gave Steve Lavin and his partner (Don't know his name) reason to trash the refs, which you usually never hear from the media guys. And I don't think that The Raf, who was doing the game, mentioned the bad no calls. At any rate SJU is now 3-0, and I'm placing Eddie Jordan on the "hot seat". Were either Tau or Reckson at the game, and what did the fans think of the no-calls, besides being happy about them?

Was just on SJU board, don't see too much mention of those no calls. Rutgers sucks, long year for both as league play is coming
Well, maybe the MAAC is making a comeback. Siena handling Radford,,this afternoon, and a week ago, Radford defeated Georgetown in double OT. Let's see if the Gaels can keep it up, tonight.
Raftery said the no-calls were a shame, twice, as did Brando. And they were. Would have been nice to see if we could have won the game without them, with the way Rut was shooting their free throws. (5-14 on the night). They could have tied the game with 8 seconds left if they hit both ends. Alumni Hall was always a strange shooters court if you are not used to it. I remember that from when I was a Freshman and used to play pick-up. Takes a little getting used to. Rutgers, I thought, actually got the benefit of the whistle during their first half run. Disgraceful performance by Rut, though, overall. STJ badly undermanned, even before, now without Lovett, Yakwe, Darien Williams(shoulder), Malik Ellison (foot), and they couldn't even blow us out, let alone beat us. We lost to STAC by 32 points, 16 days before.
I like Eddie. Good dude. But I'm not sure if you can do basketball in New Jersey. Ask Rod Rod Thorn. He took the Nets to the NBA Finals two years in a row, and they couldn't even sell those games out.

Attendance isn't the problem. As bad as they usually are, they draw well.
Monmouth comes from behind to win at Drexel 82-74, with Robinson scoring 28 for the Hawks.
Canisius wins handily at home over Cornell 87-62. Golden Griffs outrebounded Cornell 47-31 and had five players score in double figures and another who tallied 9. Good balanced scoring.

Oregon State now 4-0 after they defeat another of our OOC opponents, UC Santa Barbara, 71-59. Gary Payton II tallied 21 points with 7 boards for the Beavers. Santa Barbara now 1-2 on the season.
Niagara drops to 1-3, losing at home to Vermont 85-67.
