Arnold Palmer September 10, 1929 - September 25, 2016

I remember watching Arnold Palmer as a kid on black and white TV back in the early 60s.  I was proud to be a member of "Arnie's Army". I was pretty excited as a kid to find out that I shared a September 10 birthday with "The King".

Arnold Palmer was always a gentleman and a credit to the game of golf.

Nice remembrance. I have similar memories in the early 60's. He was golf to us back then.

Truly a sad Sunday in the world of sports at both ends of the spectrum. We lost Arnold Palmer who lived a long life and we lost Jose Fernandez who was taken far too soon.

Just too much death this year.
