While I may not see many candidates from the minority party who I would consider voting for in 2020, I think you are making a cruel and unwarranted statement about Oprah. I may not agree with her on a lot of issues, but she has lived the American Dream. From poor girl to billionaire. Why would you degrade her? I didn't think that Reagan had a background to be POTUS, but I think he did a very good job. I wasn't a supporter of Trump, but I wish him well. Seeing that almost everything that Oprah touches turns to gold, I would not underestimate her. I suppose I just do not understand your need to attack people, OT.
OT, just a reminder. Our current president was not a street walker, but he's had a lot of experience with them. And who can forget how he bragged of how he liked to grab women, by their ................ . The best you can do is just pray that he changes. You might tell him, "Have you no shame, Mr. President?"
Oprha Winfrey is being strongly pushed to become the next Presidential canditate for the Democratic party.
The world will get a giant laugh out her slogan...
''America the land of opportunity...From street walker to President...''
The Ultra Left in its desperation has no shame trying to regain power is using any means possible...
Speaking of ''Background'' checks
How about spelling her name correctly, especially if you are going to take the time to take a shot at her! Yet another example of your racism - this time it is blatant!
Neither you nor your hardcore friends could have survived the background she was born into - let alone achieve the legitimate success she enjoys today. Plus, I am unaware of her using 13 year old boys as sex toys or colluding with an enemy of the US to toss an election. Go back to living on the largesse of the NR taxpayer, and stick to reminiscing on your running numbers days.

Z.....I have a habit of calling them like they are...It has served me well for 92 years...
Did the truth hurt?
I have no doubt that you are as admitted, not a Trump suporter and did not rush to defend the vicious attacks on him...I do not also remember you posting such a defense until now with your feeble attempt to walk both sides of the fence.....

Speaking of desperate OT, your boy Trump and his administration (at least the holdovers from the Campaign) look more dirty every day. Dishonesty under oath isn't a good look for the chief law enforcement officer of the country. More to come. Or I should say, more to Comey.

St.LOUIS and the rest that are showing their true colors.....
Your cheap shot often used race baiting tactics are being tried on the wrong person...If my Police Career files are still available I give full permission for a review...You will find nothing there except letters of thanks, praise and appreciation from the black community including running into immediate danger to save lives.......
My childhood was spent living next door to a black family and when their father lost his job during the great depression and was about to loose his home, it was my immigrant grandfather who despite strong opposition from the Italion community who were also desperate for work who gave our black neighbor a job...I also remember the answer he gave over 80 years ago when asked by my aunt who kept the books what salary should he be given 'He do the same work, he get the same pay'...... With a teacher such as that, put that race calling up you and your buddies asses...
I Also played baseball and had a beer with mixed team mates long before you were born, where race relations if left to their natural progress instead of instigators and profiteers interference would be much further along then they are today...
Only the hopeless such as you and your friends can find racism within the truth...

HANDS UP!!!!!!!
Not interested in your police files. Not interested in your numbers running activities. Not interested in who you played baseball with. Too bad your grandfather did not pass the tolerant genes on to you.
You are a bitter old fart, and an intolerant racist. Just read your opening post to this thread. Then read your intolerant attack of Z.

With all due respect (and I mean that sincerely) to you, OT, I believe you call them as you see them. However, the way you see them may not be the same as what they are in fact. I look at my Mom, who has also reached the magical 90s in age. I am amazed that while set in her ways and beliefs, she is quite tolerant of those with whom she disagrees. I think it keeps her young, even though I know she’s more than ready to join my Dad in the next life.
I respect you for your service to our nation and your service to the community. I have enjoyed your stories over the years. I wish you could be more tolerant as I believe that it would inure to your overall benefit and overall well-being. But I understand that you are set in your ways – much the same as my Grand Dad. He was born in 1891 and lived to be 96. I loved him dearly, but he could be quite bitter.
Did the truth hurt?
I am not sure what “truth” you are talking about.
I have no doubt that you are as admitted, not a Trump suporter and did not rush to defend the vicious attacks on him...I do not also remember you posting such a defense until now with your feeble attempt to walk both sides of the fence.....
I remember being a 9 year old kid and waking up the day after the Nixon/Kennedy election in 1960. My family supported Nixon. I asked my Dad who won and he said, “Senator Kennedy”. I suppose I made a face because my Dad said to me, “Senator Kennedy is our next President and we owe him our support.” That is the way I have looked at every new POTUS since. I will give Trump the support I gave BHO before him, GWB before him, WHC before him and so on. That support grew or diminished as they served, but at the outset, I supported each. Trump is no different and has my support. You may not believe me (and it does not matter), but I actually voted for Trump – although it was more of a vote against HRC. I did not make up my mind on whether to write in Kasich or vote for Trump until I had the ballot in front of me and voted for all other candidates, bond issues, and constitutional questions. I stared at the POTUS candidates for about 5 minutes before completing my vote. I believe that it was an embarrassment that the American public was forced to choose between those two candidates.
I did not see any vicious attacks on Trump. Even if I did, I see no reason to fly to his aid. Hell, he brings most of this on himself. As for your comment that I am walking both sides of the fence, I will just say that my almost 39 years of trying lawsuits allows me (in fact requires me) to look at both sides of an argument. If I cannot understand my opponent’s argument, I will not do very well in court. I carry this over into my day to day life. I have many friends with whom I disagree on a number of issues. I understand their point of view – I just do not agree with it.
Along those lines, since I argue with people every day, I am not inclined to argue on “my own time”. And so please know that I did not mean to ruffle any feathers or offend you in any way. I only wish you and all members of this board the best. Politics and religion should probably not be discussed as I have yet to see a “conversion” take place in either. What I do think rational people should be able to do, at the very least, is understand where the other is coming from and accept that other person’s right to believe as they want.

Rather than worrying about shoes fitting, maybe it’s time to see if an old dog can learn new tricks.
It's about 11:15; the RU/MC game is only at the half; and I have to be in court in the morning, so I am going to sleep. Best wishes.

How are we doing with our new friends from Moscow?
We still have a ways to go for criminality here - little bit less with each passing day. What a dishonor to the people who fought alongside OT - including my father-in-law who was with OT in the marines in Iwo Jima! OT, you dishonor my father-in-law who lies in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
