Last night I lost the last of my three best buddies--all in less than three years. Tom was a running back, a linebacker, javelin thrower and marine. A very loyal guy born on the fourth of July. We saw the world exactly the same way. Semper Fi.

Semper Fi.[/quote]QS QS.........He was a Marine, he was born on 4th of July and his first name was Tom...How could he be anything but quite a guy  Had some of my few remaining old time friends over for a visit a couple of days ago...When questioned about many of my old time gang, I was startled by the amount no longer with us... Hang in there QS......Old buddies are mostly gone, but the fun time memories with them will remain forever... I once missed a one foot put for a victory...I as so mad, I put the ball in my mouth and had to be restrained trying to swallow it...That as stupid a moment as it was is a memory that years after still brings upon recital and a few beers laughter...  |

QS, I knew Tom from my visits to spend time with great alums, like you and Tom, in the San Francisco area. Sad to say that was over 20 years ago. May he rest in peace. Tom certainly fought the good fight.
