The Derby is one race that the best horse has problems winning...A 20 horse field is one that to many things can happen, and you need tons of luck and a very good jockey........Saying that Super Saver with Calvin Borel aboard will be my bet.....

Shed a tear when they played "My Old Kentucky home", and cheered a little later as my $50 win bet brought me about a $450 return...

Ice Box was the best horse in this race. Got boxed in at the start was forced to retreat and then was dead last at the top of the stretch. Passed every horse but one in the stretch. If he gets one decent break he wins going away. Had he caught that last horse I would be over $3000.00 richer tonight, oh well, I guess that's why they call it gambling.
