3 to dance!!!
PS Not to look past the QF game, but the SF game is a nightmare scenario between either playing Siena on their home floor or playing a Rider team who is going to be out for blood and is already 0-for-2 against us this season.

Would rather take our chances with Siena on their home floor than have to play a Rider team that will be out for blood after losing to us twice this season. Either way, we need to win Friday night before we can even think about this.

Not afraid of Siena at all; Rider almost lost to Marist today. 19-31 fts

Let's get a win in the quarters.
We shouldn't be thinking about the semis. Winston Wolf put it best in Pulp Fiction, "Well, let's not start sucking each others d*cks quite yet."
Go Gaels!!!

Something very wrong with Rider, having lost 6 of their last 10 games...

Yeah Marist has a couple of guys that can get really hot from three and cause lots of stress. IF Iona gets to the semis I rather see Siena. Yeah Siena would not be easy in front of 8K, but Rider has more talent.

Not sure I'll be doing that even if we win the whole tournament. Even if we win the NCAA tournament. Although, well, if that's what it takes, then maybe...

This is going to be one of the most exciting tournaments in years( 1998 being the best imo) . Let’s not look ahead but hope we all are salivating for the scent of green blood ☠️☠️☠️😬😬😬.

The last time we played Marist in the MAAC tourney it was an action-packed 43-40 loss in Willard’s second season. We haven’t played them since.
SPU, on the other hand, it feels like we play every season in the MAAC tourney.

They have not made it past the quarterfinals since 2010. They have arguably just as much talent as any program in the MAAC. IF they beat Siena, finally getting the taste of a MAAC tourney win, they will lift the pressure off of themselves and may very well likely run the table. Plus Guy's beating similar teams 3 times in a row comes into play. Rather see Iona take their chances against Siena

There are no easy games.
2 seed Canisius is the best team in the MAAC on a floor not their own and lost to Iona twice already.
3 seed Quinny has the league's best player.
4 seed Rider has the most talent in the league and lost to Iona twice already.
5 seed Siena is at home with a good defense and a savvy PG.
6 seed Monmouth has a good D and experience in the tourney.
7 seed Manhattan has a good D and a coach who has won the tourney before.
8 seed Marist has a coach who has won the tourney before.
9 seed St Peters has a young team and rookie coach with nothing to lose.
10 seed Fairfield reached the finals last year as a lower seed.
11 seed Niagara has nothing to lose.
Not one cakewalk.
Iona is the favorite for many reasons. But any team above can beat them. Defend, let the veterans lead, and play smart basketball and we will win the whole thing.
