I hope Iona doesn't get involved. One retired faculty member who stops by to visit me has told me that some of their buildings need work to them and I am not sure if it is worth Iona's time and money to fix up that campus when we still have enough work with all the new building we are doing plus the upkeep on what we have now. |

It's possible that at least one of the buildings (The Castle?) is protected by law (Landmark). That could hurt real estate development. And I agree that Iona should not get involved. Too much downside and not enough upside. Now if we have a short term need for dorms/housing, then maybe we could enter into a short term lease for one of the dorms. But I'm not even sure that would be possible until the school is sold.

One thing you can see from the pictures is the lack of parking. I know this from attending my granddaughter's AAU BB games. The buildings, though, are pretty impressive.
