SLG, or anyone else who might be in St. Louis on July 30th, the baseball Cardinals are having a Bobble Head night, honoring Jason Motte.

SLG, if you can't make it, buy someone a ticket in return for the BH.

Interesting fact about Jason Motte. They have been playing professional baseball in St. Louis since the 1870's. In fact, it's been reported that they were playing baseball (first game??) in SL on the same day that Gen. Custer was fighting the Indians at the Little Big Horn. Well since 1903 when they started playing the WS the St. Louis Cardinals have won 11 second to the Yankees' 27. Of those 11 wins, four went down to the 9th inning of the 7th game, and JASON MOTTE was one of only four SL pitchers to record the final out. Pretty impressive.

SLG, I got a call from my nephew, last night, telling me that he got me a Jason Motte bobble head doll. His son, my great nephew, is an engineer for AB, and he lives and works in SL. He was at last night's game and came away with a BH. He'll be home in Sept. (Eastchester) and hopefully will bring along the BH. A very nice surprise.

SLG, I'm glad he did, because, quite frankly, the pressure was starting to show.
